I consider myself a soup guy. We've been buying some of these !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . For the amount of effort involved in making them ( boil water, dump in contents of bag ) they are surprisingly good and cheap.

That's my top tip for you poor/lazy/love soup peeps out there.

Just looked these up. Under the instructions it says "For variety: Add...". So basically, the packet is just the base of the soup. "For variety", you add the stuff that actually makes up the soup (beans, meat, veggies of some sort..."

I'll probably still look into them because we need quick meals around my house.

Yeah I like to add meat to them, but they are highly edible on their own. I just made a batch of chicken noodle and it is pretty hearty without even adding chicken to it.

Cream potato soup + bacon + cheese + scallions +sour cream = loaded potato soup.
